By building code, Canada requires a 10mm rainscreen in all coastal areas including most parts of B.C., Nova Scotia, Newfoundland/Labrador, and Quebec. As such, 10mm Sure Cavity is required and the details attached depict a typical installation. Other code-approved methods may be available.
